The Festive Store attempts to dispatch all orders within 2 business days during Christmas periods, however orders are subject to stock availability and supply lead times. During the rest of the year, orders may take a little longer as we do not have the large staff on hand, but any delay will be communicated to you
We are a Melbourne based business so please allow for the appropriate delivery time, after dispatch, to your destination.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based.
The Festive Store will make every attempt to contact you if there is a problem with party and decoration stock availability or we are unable to dispatch your oder.
Australia Post is used as our delivery carrier where possible, though at certain times or for large items a specialised courier may be required. Please note that the Christmas period is a peak mail and delivery time for all postal and courier companies. The Festive Store will advise customers of any unexpected peaks or expected delays communicated by our delivery carriers.
Anyone at the delivery address who receives the Order will be assumed to be authorised to receive the Order on your behalf.
The Festive Store will not accept responsibility for late delivery or non-delivery of your decorations due to incomplete or incorrect details provided.
You may return most new, unopened items within 15 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button.
